What you can expect if you buy something or book a show, written to be understood rather than to be unarguable.
Four things, and the rest is detail.
You can change your mind
Fourteen days from the parcel arriving, for any reason or none. Downloads are the one exception, and only once you have started one.
If it arrives wrong, we fix it
Damaged, missing, not what you ordered. Write to us and it is put right at our cost, not yours.
The price is the price
What you see includes what it costs to make. Postage is shown before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.
Nothing here removes your rights
UK and European consumer law sits above anything on this page. Where they disagree, the law wins.
The person behind it.
Everything sold here is sold by Jennifer Ewbank, based in The Hague in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 51850966.
For anything at all, write to shop@jenniferewbank.co.uk. It reaches a person rather than a queue, and you will hear back the same day or the next one.
How a sale actually happens.
Putting something in your bag reserves nothing. The sale is made when we accept your order, which is the email you get confirming it.
If something sells out between you ordering and us packing, or a price has gone up on the site by mistake, we will tell you and refund you in full rather than quietly send something else or charge more.
Prices are shown in pounds and in euro. Whichever you were shown is what you pay, and it is fixed at the moment you order. A rate moving overnight does not change it.
Where card payments are not yet switched on, an order reserves what you asked for and we write to you with how to pay. Nothing is taken until you have agreed to it, and if you change your mind before paying there is nothing to undo.
Getting it to you.
Orders go out within three working days. Within the UK that is usually second class, and further afield it takes as long as it takes.
Postage is worked out before you pay and shown on the order. Anything going outside the UK may attract duty or import charges at the other end, which are set by your own country and are not ours to collect or to waive.
Pre-orders are for things that do not exist yet. Vinyl in particular is only pressed if enough people want it. You will hear from us before anything is taken, and if a run does not happen you are not out of pocket.
Sending it back.
You have fourteen days from the day the parcel arrives to tell us you want to return it, and fourteen more to actually send it. You do not have to give a reason.
Send it back in a condition you would be happy to receive it in. Return postage is yours unless the fault was ours, in which case it is ours. Once it is back, you are refunded within fourteen days by the way you paid.
Downloads are the exception. Once you have started downloading a file you have had the thing itself, and the right to change your mind goes with it. Until you open the link it still stands.
What you may do with it.
Buying sheet music or a recording buys you a copy to use. Print it, play it, learn it, perform it at home or at a lesson.
What it does not buy is the right to pass it on, sell it, put it on a website, or use it in something you are selling. If you want to do any of that, ask. The answer is often yes and it costs nothing to find out.
Download links work for thirty days and a handful of goes, which is plenty to get a file onto whatever you want it on. If one stops working before you are done, write and we will send another, gladly.
If you are booking a show.
A quote is not a booking. A date is only held once you have accepted it, and it is only yours once a contract is signed.
Fees quoted include travel, hotels, production and the musicians. VAT and any withholding tax sit outside them, and agency or planner commission goes on top. Nothing is added afterwards that was not said at the start.

The words, music, recordings, photographs and design on this site belong to Jennifer Ewbank or to the people who made them with her. Enjoy them, share the links, and ask before using any of it for something of your own.
If something here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and nothing in them takes away rights you have as a consumer wherever you live.
This page was last changed on 1 August 2026. If it changes materially the date changes with it, and an order is always governed by the version that was up when you placed it.
