Single · out now

A song about wanting to go back, not to change a thing, only to see it again.

Written and sung from her parents' side of the story, looking back at a good life together and finding it was made of very ordinary days. Music and lyrics by Jennifer Ewbank, produced by Nick Jongejan, with additional production by Lukaz.

Between The Head & The Heart

EP · six tracks · 31 July 2026

Six songs, one EP

They came out one at a time across two years, and were never meant to stay apart. Written from her own songbook and produced independently by Lukaz, Gordon Groothedde and Nick Jongejan, with a band in the room rather than a laptop on a desk.

Sharper, funnier, and finished with apologising for wanting the whole thing. It is the most confident writing of her career.

Chapter Four · The EP

Independent, and a band in the room.

Six songs released one at a time through 2025 and 2026, produced by Lukaz, with Gordon Groothedde and Nick Jongejan, and gathered on 31 July 2026 into Between The Head & The Heart. Shown here in her running order.

Chapter Three · 2021 to 2024

The Nashville chapter.

Written with Femke Weidema and Sander de Groot, recorded in Nashville, and gathered into the Footprints EP. This is where the country writing began in earnest.

Chapter Two · Together

Songs made with other people.

Sailing was the first song by an outside writer ever to appear on a Douwe Bob album. Jennifer wrote it.

Chapter One · 2010 to 2013

Where the voice came from.

The early catalogue: a debut album, the covers that found their own audience, and the song that has now passed three million streams.
